Over the past few years, more and more museums and archealogical sites are no longer allowing photography. This makes me treasure the thousands of slides I have shot in film days when photography was still permitted. Egypt no longer allows photography in any tombs in the Valley of the Kings or Noble's tombs, as well as in the Egyptian Museum in Cairo, or the interiors of the magnificent temples of Ramses II and Nefertari at Abu Simbel that were raised to higher ground in the 1960's when the High Dam at Aswan was built. All images in this gallery were shot on vaious trips to Egypt between 1988-2003 with either my older Canon A-1 or my Elan II and various lenses. They have been digitized from 35mm slides.
