Snowberries on a White Lamp..

There are very ugly (in my opinion!) lamps in our yard, with a black post and a white lamp on top - and then there are bushes of snowberries
with beautiful white berries.. I wanted to see how the lamps would look decorated with white berries..

The snowberries are so pretty that it's hard to even think about the lamp. When I concentrate on it, the lamp reminds me of the traditional habit worn by nuns---black tunic with white wimple and veil. Very modest and rather severe. In contrast, the snowberries tumble cheerfully over the lamp without restraint. They're like plump, bright-faced toddlers at the play ground, clambering over the carousel, slipping down the slide in bunches. A very merry composition.
