I really need to find a new washing machine. My current one breaks at least once a week, and I am sick of it. Also, it is a front loader, and my boys open it all the time. Sometimes I won't realize, and I will have something important in there, and it doesn't get washed. I would love to have a top loader, so my boys can't get into it. http://www.mcivers.biz

Feel for you Ceya in your dilemma. Not inspired by new washing machines, while our 31 YEAR OLD Hitachi PF-950P is still doing the job perfectly.

Good question. This is hard. How about opening it up and shooting its innards? Or macro focusing on the dials. Let's see what others propose. Soiled and neatly laundered Tshirts side by side on the machines?
