I am a Latin American artist based in Southern California. I have been painting and sculpting in America since 1982. I focus my work on outdoor subjects, most often landscapes and animals. I mainly use Southwestern or Latin American motifs in my paintings. All my paintings are original impressionist oils created using a spatula & knife technique. By using such technique, I find I can achieve more texture and depth in my work. I frequently show at exhibits and galleries in the Southwest, but have also shared my work in several countries.
