Once a month Fundación A. Jean Brugger invites the ancianos (senior citizens) of San Juan del Sur to a very special luncheon at Piedras y Olas Hotel. The ancianos enjoy games, music, special programs, dancing and a delicious lunch. The scholarship students of the foundation serve as hosts and servers during this event.  In the moth of May the ancianos celebrated Mother's Day. Over 100 ancianos attended to celebrate the special mothers of the community. They enjoyed local music and dancing.
