I purchased a small Casio (about credit card size) to tuck into my pocket on these excursions. I have a feeling that Izaak would be just as pleased if I left the camera home :)..

Dec. 20, 07 - update: Sadly, I dropped the Casio one too many times. Next I purchased a little Canon (I forget which one) I really liked it; but it 'jumped' out of my pocket and into the sea while we were refueling the boat. Next I got a little Fuji FinePix 8 mega pixel point and shoot.
Loved it. Lost it over Thanksgiving at the Santa Monica Pier on the Bumper Car rides. It was filled with photos I had taken the prior two days when my Cousin and her beautiful kidlet were visiting. Drat and Pooh!!
I replaced it with another Fuji, this time a FinePix F50 SE, with 12 mega pixies. I have not noticed a great difference between this one and the other, which had 8 pixies. Too soon to tell, I guess %:)
