April 23 - 10:37 a.m.

I was driving back home from Brentwood Bay and spotted this beautiful pair of horses. Taken with the Nikkor 18-70mm at 18mm for the wide angle effect.

Great photo! I sent a link to this to my neighbor next door who just published a book "1001 reasons to love horses"http://www.prairielightsbooks.com/NASApp/store/IndexJsp?s=showproduct&isbn=1584794003
it would have been a great image for the book.

That's super, really lovely. What great colour saturation? Are you using image optimization on your camera? Like 'vivid' or custom to achieve this?

You needed that carrot to attract the attention of the second horse! Fantastic light and good colours.

Great detail and colour/tones. Hope you had a carrot or an apple in your pack?

And the hue of the horses contrastes with the blue sky. Nice capture!

They are beautiful! I like the angles formed by the first's ears combined wtih the shed behind, and the wide angle really works. Great color saturation, too.
