This gallery is of a herd of deer living in a small wooded (more like bush land) area between the town houses where I live, in West Chester, PA(I have named them the Birmingham Herd). The first images were taken of them, usually when I was in my car on the way home from or to work. I found a path way into the wooded area and found where they hang out. I have come up on them twice now, and have been able to take shots. The first shots I had my 20D with a Promaster 70mm-300mm and a 2x teleconverter. they are OK,, but I wanted to do better. I returned home a got my Canon 400mm f2.8 with 1.4 teleconverter and took a few more. They came out better.
