i heard of the beauty of nl,finally i got to see it for a total of 6 weeks on my 08 and 09 vacations it is a world of its own,iwill got back every year that i can,lansameadows,western brook pond,trespassy,the beauty is every where,the people in general are very kind and generous.your photos tell a great story and more.

I like your pictures. Accidental visit. Wondered how many pics of St. Vincent's, Nfld there were.

Excellent variety of images from your Newfoundland trip. A friend and I have a permit to shoot at Witless Bay Ecological Reserve in July, and your images are a fine introduction. Cape St. Mary's is on the agenda too, and I enjoyed your gannet photos from there. Nice work!

you're really a fantastic photographer. I was just searching for a hike to do tomorrow and found these photo's, i could only hope to see a slice of what you did. The lady getting close to the moose is a typical tourist that we all laugh at and tell stories about...someone needs to remind those people that it's not a zoo, the animals are wild!

Wow! Fantastic pictures! I was looking up photos of the Lobster Cover Lighthouse, because thats where me and my fiance are getting married! He's actually a Rocky harbour man, I'm from The Lower north Shore of Quebec (Right next to Labrador). I'm just imagining places to take photos of us on our wedding day! Thanks alot, and do keep up the wonderful photography! (I'm in Yellowknife attempting the Northern Lights myself! Yikes!) :-)

Beautiful photos! I worked on a passerine study near Gros Morne for 3 months this summer, and these pictures have me reminiscing. I believe I was at Stephenville crossing probably in the same week as you to see the Reef Heron and Little Egret, fantastic birds! Gorgeous pictures, good luck with future photos!

Hi Carol. Enjoyed looking through the images in this gallery. I plan to visit Newfoundland next Summer (hopefully) and your images give me a good idea of what to expect, especially around Witless Bay. Wow, never saw a Western Reef Heron before. Thanks for sharing.

Hi Carol,

I just returned from my third trip to Newfoundland and was happy to add the Western Reef Heron to my life list. My favorite part of visiting Newfoundland is photgraphing the birds, wildflowers, mammals, and especially, the scenery.
I really enjoyed seeing your photographs since you seem to enjoy photographing "everything" like I do, including lighthouses, boats, etc. Very nice work!

I had a great time with looking at your excellent photos from Newfoundland.
As a birder I probably liked the bird pictures the best.
I also was impressed by the landscape and flower pictures.
The truth is that there is beauty in everything; you just have to find it.
I think Carol you are doing a good job at it.
