Thurne goes Infrared!

I got a new toy this week a new Hoya R72 Infrared filter.
Ive always loved infrared, but have always managed to work it in Photoshop, but the real thing is 100% better, I hope to improve with my settings soon and we need some gorgeous sun as well!
I love the fluffy effect of the moving grass, I think some clouds would have made it a better pik but I wasnt going to use PS this time, its all in camera, oh and filter lol!

More infrared images in my new Mills in Mono gallery

Wonderful stuff Cazi, it makes the place look like a burning hot summer's day! I've never tried IR, but it looks like a whole new world of photography to explore.

Very striking monochrome, with great tonal range. Some clouds might have been nice, but with the composition you have, the beautifully white mill alone against the dark sky has a lot of impact.
