Male Common Darter- Sympetrum striolatum

Another darter pik from my own garden this time.
Loved his face as he allowed me to get close and grab this shot; swiveling his head watching me all the time!
Loved the yellow stripes on his legs!
This pik below is another darter against the beautiful blue sky of yesterday, one of my favorite piks!

He actually has a cheeky face, or have I had too much sun lol?

Another wonderful shot - no, you havent had too much sun lol, I always say they have such happy smiling faces too. Who wouldnt fall in love with these cheeky loveable little dragons.

Fantastic macro.
Sometimes they seem so curious about being photographed, I wonder if they can see themelves in the lens.
