I spent Friday night at the new shorebird area at Montezuma. It had just been flooded and the birds were coming in. Although the light was wrong, the photography was great. The buff breasted sandpiper was a new life bird for me! I went back about 7am the next morning when the light was super and got my favorite shots. I went back Saturday night and shot again. I don't compete in the Muckrace, but certainly enjoyed the many birds I saw that day.
