At km27 on the access road there is a small parking on the right side where 3 to 4 cars can park. Just before the parking there is a road down to the right which also have some spaces where to park. The altitude here is about 1100 m and around this location many species of birds can be found. Species to be found here includes:
Red-breasted Trogon
Long-tailed Broadbill
Ratchet-tailed Treepie
White-hooded Babbler
Red-beared Bee-eater
Bamboo Woodpecker

Photography might be difficult though due to low light and dense foliage. I found mountain side below the parking to have the most light.
