Saw a pair of these birds nesting behind the office where I work in Koh Samui Suratthani province, absolutely beautiful plummage in flight and motion. Unfortunately the area will be cleared for development but plenty of other forested areas nearby, but I feel lucky to have seen such a beautiful bird.
