A monument commemorating the three core members of the "Kataastaasang Kagalang-galangang Katipunan ng mga Anak ng Bayan" movement
or Katipunan/KKK for short http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Katipunan during the Spanish colonial era featuring, from left to right: Emilio Jacinto
(considered as the "Brains of the Katipunan" who also wrote The Katipunan Primer), Andrés Bonifacio (the leader of the revolutionary group
and noted down in history as "The Great Plebeian"), and Dr. Pío Valenzuela (elected as the group's first fiscal in December 1895 who also
supervised the publication of the secret society's official paper named "Kalayaan" or freedom).

Major scoop! This may be the VERY FIRST TIME this unfinished monument is publicly shown (look, ma - no commemorative plaques yet!)
located at the Executive House Building construction site beside the new Municipal Building of Valenzuela City! :-)

N.B.: The monument is made by the Father of Modern Philippine Sculpture and National Artist for Sculpture, Prof. Napoleon V. Abueva -
the same world-renowned sculptor whose other masterpieces include the U.P. Oblation and the monumental "Transfiguration" figure at
Eternal Gardens Memorial Park. This as well as the new Executive House building surrounding it were officially inaugurated on July 11, 2008
during Dr. Pío Valenzuela's 139th birth anniversary that was declared a special holiday exclusively for residents and workers of Valenzuela City.
