In the 1950's this site used to house the St. Vincent Seminary ... later it was leased to the San Miguel Corporation and converted the
place into a bottle warehouse. Eventually the land was sold (?) to Philippine tychoon Mr. Henry Sy who promptly built and set up the local
SM mall - a most popular and distinct place to shop and hang out in the Philippines (with 31 world-class malls found across the country).
