I can't tell you much about the V8's and various blocks on Giles tables, but the green engine to the left is a Vaughn sideshaft, and the white one to the right is a Gray. Castings for the Vaughn came from DeBolt in Ohio and the Gray castings are from Cooper Industries in Lousiana (I think that's where they are?)
