On Saturday, April 19, Janet and I took a drive a bit to the east. Aside from a friendly conversation with a Utah State Trooper, who gave me a bit of a costly reminder to slow down and enjoy the scenery, it was a pleasant day.

The first trip on this site is from a trip on the Coral Sand Dunes, in Washington County, Utah.
This is how the geriatric set who wander into St. George for the winter from icier climes, entertain themselves.
Ghost Towns of Utah
As representatives of the Greatest Generation, most of whom are the beneficiaries of abundant elective time to pursue a variety of interests, we have determined that images of stuff older than us hold a certain fascination. Our beginning episode will feature sites along I-15 and along the route from I 15 to Zion National Park:Silver Reef, Leeds/Harrisville, Virgin, Rockville and Grafton.
Enjoy!
Zion National Park 2017

Below are images created from our trip with Elder Quest, a senior activity and education program sponsored by Utah Valley University. Please note the word "created." Most of the images have gone through Photoshop, to enhance the images and bring them as close to what my eye and my brain perceived when the images were made. I do not, however, like cloudless skies, so three of the photos of Monument Valley contain fluffy clouds, enhanced by addition of the clouds from other photos taken at different places at different times. I hope you enjoy them.
