I was lucky enough to be able to get the different stages of this flower. I really thought it was a weed...a very interesting weed...but a weed none the less.

I HAVE BEEN CORRECTED IN THAT THIS IS NOT A CALIFORNIA POPPY....WHAT DOES A BLONDE DO WHEN THEY BELIEVE EVERYTHING THEY ARE TOLD....I AM NOW TOLD IT IS A JAPANESE POPPY...EITHER WAY..I HAD FUN WITH THIS LITTLE PROJECT I CREATED. :0)
