High Sierra Cows

view map

It was interesting to see this herd of cows along the Pacific Crest Trail.
They were very frisky cows as they trotted after the cow with the loud bell.

We had to be careful to pitch our tents in a cow pie free spot that evening;-)

They do look out of place there and LOL about the tent pitching location :-)

They looked more relaxed than frisky in this shot. In holiday mood perhaps? :-)

We frequently run into cows in remote camping areas in Arizona. I can relate to your care in pitching the tent! :)
