Star Party

From a Star Party at Stanford University for a large group of young girls.
They were very excited to see such sky objects as Mars, Saturn, the Ring Nebula of Lyra and the Gobular Cluster of M13 through many different telescopes.

My telescope is on the far right.
A classic Celestron C8 on a computerized GOTO mount.

I would be excited too. Super capture of the scene. Love the warm light and motion blur and of course, the sky. V.

I am truly amazed at the number of people that have never really looked at the sky at night - and it's free and always there to behold and it's mind boggling and stunning.

Great ghosting effect in this image. The lighting is kind of eerie. "V"
