ah yes the days of not being able to delete a bad shot! :) Old cameras are a fond memory, but nothing beats the new technology! nice shot, Bryan. V~

Nice setup for the shot; old and new 'film'. My first SLR had nothing auto about it but match needle exposure and split screen focusing was state of the art. ;)
Best regards,
Dick:)

I got out my Pentax K1000 and it had film in it. And it was Kodak Gold.:) Great photo of this classic. Shooting film is different and fun. V.

Fine shot of this great Nikon. I still shoot once in a while with film. It will give you a different perspective on things. V

Ah memories... my film camera was a Nikon FM (fully manual) and I loved it because I learned how to use my camera. I still have it but I'll never use it (I accidentally stuck my thumb through the shutter catching it from falling out of my hands while trying to remove the film and it's "hosed") but I do miss the split screen focus.

It's funny to hear "film" cameras now being called "Classic". I was still shooting with mine less than 10 years ago and considered digital cameras mere "toys". LOL. How times change.

Nice presentation. Hope you have fun in going retro. Although I wouldn't want to go back to it full time, you'll quickly get used to shooting without auto focus. Most of us (pre digital days) did it out of necessity. VBG. My own film camera (that I used professionally) was one that was older than I was. I got newer cameras over the years, but I always went back to that "Classic". Now, you've made me nostalgic for shooting film.

Best wishes,Bryan, for you and your loved ones in 2012. Hope it's your best photo year ever.
