Another Large Tree Down

The overnight severe thunderstorms were supposed to have had winds over 80 MPH.
I'm not sure if we had that strength of wind at our house or not. During his emergency broadcast, the local TV weatherman couldn't tell by radar. It was a big maybe.

In the light of day, this strangely seems to be the only tree to have been affected by the bad weather. It was a really big tree. Now, it's a pile of collapsed rubble. Whatever hit the tree was so strong that many of the detached, larger branches ended up buried in deep holes in the sod about 20 feet away from the rest of the tree. Smaller branches were hurled as far as 100 feet away!!!

Native to the area, this tree was here before we built our house many years ago.
