Christmas in July 7-16-23

Pink Flush Sport

**************

New to me in November 2020 for the Winter Holidays: https://pbase.com/britestar/image/171763514
It was supposed to bloom for Christmas. However, it didn't bloom until late May 2021. That was strange.

The next year 2022, this bulb also bloomed in May. After the first holiday season blooming, I allow my older amaryllises to bloom whenever Nature tells them. This year, it seems to have moved to mid-July. So, I guess we're experiencing Christmas in July.

Frankly, I have no idea as to why I now suddenly have Amaryllises blooming in July. This is also not the only one of my Amaryllis that is currently blooming in July of 2023. Go figure. All are being grown indoors in pots. Having July blooming Amaryllises is a first for me.

Has anyone else ever experienced this?
