"Mother Nature" 2022

Indoors

The color seems to be blooming browner indoors than it did while outside: https://pbase.com/britestar/image/172905225
But since it's only been inside for two days, I'm not sure. Lighting indoors (even natural light in the Solar Room) is also different than outside on the deck. Luckily, I was able to get a nice natural background. With all the plants now crowded together inside, that is difficult.

Another hard freeze (21 degrees Fahrenheit for the second night in a row) has totally ended the outdoors growing season quite early. No more reprieves.

**************

'Mother Nature' blooms with 7-9" single brown flowers with a red eye, a bright lilac halo, and orange, gold, and white rays - all of which give this flower a very colorful effect. 'Mother Nature' is the offspring of 'Geronimo' and 'Crème de Cacao.' Released from HVH in 2011."

It makes for a strikingly coloured hibiscus flower, even if not quite the same colour as when outdoors. Beautiful tack sharp shot. V

What a difference, but still a great shot of a beautiful flower.
