Today's Project 2020

My husband is half way done in replacing the back steps that he removed last month: https://pbase.com/image/170716151

Bailey is still not feeling well. To say the least, we are very concerned. We'll see on Monday if she needs to be seen by the vet again.

Meanwhile, data from Johns Hopkins University says that 19 US states have increasing COVID case rates. Several of these states have seen record or near-record highs in recent days. Even so, the United States is continuing to open. COVID hospitalizations are also up. That includes at the hospital where my husband works. COVID hospitalization there have more than doubled overnight. This raises concern.

Kansas City, Missouri, Health Department Director says "City is in Second Wave of COVID-19." Missouri is now fully open. Concerts, conventions, and political rally's have a green light without size or social distancing restrictions. The governor also refuses to even consider closing the state again; no matter how bad this new wave of coronavirus may become. It's now solely up to each individual to protect - or not protect - himself and others.

Just another day... A little progress. A little stress. An uncertain future. But a future.

Best wishes for Bailey. It is so hard to have a pet who is not well.

I am sorry that Bailey is still unwell, Liz. This information is terrifying! Too much too soon and no social distancing!!! The UK is not far behind you with everything opening up this month bit by bit, we're still in isolation since 23rd March and intend to stay this way in case of a second wave!

Good progress happening with the stairs! So sorry to hear Bailey is not as well as you hoped, maybe one or two more days may make a difference.
With some of the your States now fully open we noticed the the total cases in the US have risen, please stay safe!

The stairs look like they are coming along great. Just curious - are the actual steps wood or trex or ?. I hope Bailey feels better soon. A lot of polititicians, especially Republicans, need to go bye bye very soon or there won't be much left of this country.
