We flew over to the US in Late September/ October 2016 for just over 3 weeks backpacking in the Colorado Plateau area of southern Utah and northern Arizona.

Firstly we hiked down the lower Paria River in Utah to it's confluence with the Colorado River itself at Lee's Ferry in Arizona then hitch hiked back to our car....

We then did 3 excellent loop hikes in the Escalante river area; 1. Upper Escalante, Bowington trail, Death Hollow, Boulder Mail trail 2.Silver Falls, Harris, Escalante, Neon, Choprock canyons. 3. Wolverine, Horse and Little Death Hollow canyons.

We also hiked in Salt Creek in Canyonlands NP with visits to Needles and the 'Great Gallery'. It was a fantastic trip!
