Into the Sierra with Brian Jr, 2008!

Took my son Brian on a Father/Son backpacking trip to the Sierra in July. This time we chose to go
into an area I'd wanted to venture for some time - Sabrina Basin. We left on Wednesday, and drove
to the Ancient Bristlecone Forest to camp before our backpack. We spent a wonderful evening hiking
among the ancient pines, then hiked into the Sierra for what would be a fantastic trip!

Now you have to understand, my son is a yoyo fanatic, and part of the time on this trip was spent
filming a yoyo video in the mountains. As a result, you'll see several photos here of Brian doing
his 'art'.

The weather was very, very warm, the bugs numerous, and the scenery beyond compare. Can't wait to
go back to the Sierra again!

There's some really gorgeous stuff here, Brian!! What an incredible trip. Trip narration put me right there and the candid stuff's great. I must say, the mosquito netting self-portrait is a CLASSIC!!!!! Funniest I've ever seen you look!! YOu're brave for putting it up!!
