Water was flowing everywhere in Zion on this day. I counted at least 3 waterfalls which must have been over 2000' in height - it was amazing. Over two feet of snow had fallen a couple days prior to my visit on the high country of Zion, and now that the sun was out it was melting with a vengence. I spent over 30 minutes photographing this lovely waterfall, catching the spray in a wide variety of patterns against the motionless rock. I particularly like the contrast of the cool water with the warm tones of the rock...all bathed in the rich indirect light of the afternoon sun. Of the 30 or so images I took of this waterfall - this was my favorite by far.
