Carlton House Terrace was designed by John Nash in the early 19c.Number's 6 to 9 were at one time the German Embassy.During the Nazi period Albert Speer ,Hitler's favourite architect, redesigned some of the interior.The building now houses the prestigious Royal Society,whose members are among the top scientists in the UK.
