If you haven't experienced the Texas Hill Country in the spring when the bluebonnets and other wildflowers are blooming, you don't know what you're missing! Our second day there, despite grey skies and off and on rain, we went on a beautiful 175+ mile drive that started in Kerrville, TX and then headed west on a 2 lane, curvy road that went in, around and through the mountains, down into the valleys, past rich farmland and saw lots and lots of critters, including kangaroos and a giraffe. Sorry I didn't get a picture of the giraffe - he was on private property and I didn't want to get shot.
We hope you enjoy the virtual tour!
