Ottenby & Southern Öland - People, Wildlife and Landscape

In september 2010 I bought a house in Grönhögen. This small village is situated just 7 km north of Ottenby birdstation at the very southern edge of Öland. The area around lighthouse "Långe Jan" is very famous for bird migration both in spring and autum, and of corse good for wildlife photography in general. I will probably spend a lot more time here in the future and here are a few of the pictures i got so far .....

You may not be aware that there is another Lange Jan on the island where I was born:
The conspicious tower in the heart of the city of Middelburg has the same name.
Location in degrees and minutes: N= 51 29,97 E= 003 36,89 Height 91 m.
I honestly don't know whether this height relates to Mean Sea Level or to the local terrain elevation, which might be itself already around MSL + 10 m.
I happened to find out about your Lange Jan in a german TV=broadcast about the coasts of Sweden a couple of days ago.
