This shot was taking in the middle of the day, @ Mammoth Mountain Ski Area, behind one of the lodges. I was walking out of the rest room, and just found myself enamored by this frozen chain... (I believe I was playing quite a bit of Warcraft 3 Frozen thrown around this time.. and very well could have been inspired by some frozen chains within the game.) I played around quite a bit messing with DOF and focal length (there are a few nice close ups in the main gallery) but this shot always seemed to stand out because of the black background
