Hi Bob - This is a wonderful photo - I hope you dont mind me posting it on my blog- www.omerzone.blogspot.com - During this season between Pesach and Shavuot, (Passover - Pentecost) it is a Jewish custom to "Count the Omer" - Basically acknowledge each day of the counting to the 49th day - a full 7 weeks - today is the 19th day of the omer, or 2 weeks and 5 days - It's a harvest festival, and the "Omer" refered to a measure of barley- about 1/2 gallon, - Traditionally the counting is followed by singing or reading PSALM 67 - which is so beautifully captured in your photo essay - Thank you Paul Carlyon
