I would like to know where, if it is known, Jesus' miracle of feeding the 5,000 was located? I am composing a painting depicting the loaves and fishes. I am trying to make it as authentic as possible.

After several visits to Israel, I recognise the photos - some misnamed - sorry! - but it should be acknowledged that most are not historically verifiable: theyare traditional only. The "inspirations" of Constantine's mother, Helena; the Byzantine administrators; the Crusaders and many others, supposedly located everything remotely connected with Jesus and pilgrims still believe they're in the authentic locations. So I sympathise with the inquiry along the lines of;"how do you know the place is the actual site?" etc. Advise thorough reading of reputable historical studies - very rarely written by evangelical Christians!
