This is my wife's antique baby grand piano. Her father found it in fairly bad shape and got it fully restored.
This is a shot I have been thinking about for a while now and I am a bit disappointed with it after the fact. It is the first
shot with this camera that shows the lack of quality in the optics of the kit lens that came with my 7D when left wide open.
I took the flash off the camera and set it on a chair below the piano using the lid as a bounce reflector.
Edit 3/7 It appears I will be doing a series on this at some point soon... *grin*
