Interesting image of the bright craterlet Werner D at Werner's northern part!
According to several moonbooks and lunar articles, Werner D seems to be a mysterious surface formation, because its brightness shows strange fluctuations throughout a lunar day (especially during Full Moon).

Other mysterious bright craterlets and fluctuating high-albedo regions are Linné, Posidonius gamma, Lassell D, and perhaps many more...

Great photograph Bob!

Danny.
