Very nice photos. I lived near Suk al-Juma in the mid-sixties and these bring back some vivid memories.

Hi Brian, Congratulations to your superb photos.
I used to stay several years in Libya, when it was not allowed to take photos in the city (only in the historic Roman cities of Sabrata and Leptis Magna).
Visited back just recently and enjoyed to take pictures in Tripoli.

I have to tell you, this is my first time to see so sharp pictures and specialy from Tripoli Medina, Y was born there and i saved exellent memory from ex land,specialy from Tripoli , iff you have the news one from the old medina "hara" when the most of my brothers the Jewish one has been there ,I will thank You and you will make me a great pleasure, Now i send you hello from my beautiful country , By By and Shalom Nachum Gilboa Mimmo
