Looking toward Sagittarius, the summer Milky Way is
a wonderful sight. The Lagoon Nebula is the brigher red
cloud, and the Trifid Nebula the dimmer red cloud. In this
particularly rich area of the milky way, you can also
spot two small yellow globular clusters to the upper left
of the Lagoon, along with a small open cluster (M21) slightly
right and above the Trifid, and a larger open cluster (M23)
at the lower right edge of the image.
