In October 2017, I was able to spend some time in Iceland,
and was fortunate enough to witness a few spectacular displays of the Northern
Lights. During 10 nights away from the lights of the capital city Reykjavik, we had
four nights of beautiful and active aurora in 4 different locations around Iceland.
Though these still images cannot convey the wonder of how the aurora
dances and moves in the sky, I hope they communicate some of the beauty of those nights.
All of these images were taken with a Canon 6D camera and 24mm Rokinon lens.
