Ken Schneidereit was one of the great glass artists of this world until we lost him in 2017. His amazing glass art will live on forever thankfully, gracing us with beauty that will stand the tests of time. Ken was one of those glass artists who could do it all. He started with stained glass before moving on to coldworking and lampworking where he was able to create amazing sculptures, including awards for the MLB Hall of Fame. Eventually Ken would discover murrine and the world of art glass marbles and he created some stunning images over the years, including some of the most complex murrine images we've seen using the both the hot and stringer methods for creation. Many of his marbles incorporate the images he created, and then he also created flowers and other decorative marbles. Ken had an amazing glass career and he is greatly missed by the community!
