Daryll Marotte is a very talented marble artist who is creating wonderfully beautiful marbles for us to enjoy. I found out just how sweet his work is when I got to see a lot of his marbles in person at the September 2014 Marble Weekend at Wheaton Arts Center. Until then I knew of his work from pictures and a couple of his marbles that I had in my collection, but when I saw all of them together it was obvious how far he had advanced recently. All of his work is tight and clean, with incredible fumed designs, and super tight dot stacked patterns for the backsides of many of them. A style he calls 'photon breach' is one of his most popular and cool styles, featuring electric blue fuming and an opal. Awesome marbles, and yep, you're gonna need a Marotte in your collection!
