As I was walking in a back canyon in Red Rock Canyon I came
across a frozen patch of ice that obviously came from a small
spring seepage. Walking back out I noticed a small flock of these
birds sipping the first melt from the ice. If you look closely
you'll see that this really is stil just a block of ice in front of
this sparrow.
I'm going to try and get to a few comments tonight but I have to be back
in DC early tomorrow so it may be tommorow before I get caught up ;o(
