Coso Point

Coso Point, Hwy 395 north of Ridgecrest, CA

Worked for a while this evening on a lot of different shots from Malibu Lagoon and was about
ready to put the finishing touches on a couple when I decided to look at the series from the
day before. This picture stood out as one that deserved some more attention.
This B&W is from the same series as my earlier posted picture but from before the real
red started to appear. It was this shot that convinced me I was in for a great sunset in the desert.
When I looked at it in Capture today it screamed to be a B&W, hope you like it.

Fabulous sky and toning. Those clouds look like they're reaching out and the silouhette of the mountains really frame that dramatic sky perfectly. BIG V!!
