What a great day for shooting!
I was going to get up early and go over to Blackwater NWR,
The dog woke me even earlier than I'd hoped so I was early at the refuge
in hopes of getting some great eagle shots. Well the eagles were there
and I did get some decent shots, but as has been the track record the
shorebirds stole the show!! This Great Egret stayed ten feet from the
edge of the road for 15-20 pictures. This is the first shot, straight out of
capture. It was a long day so hopefully after a good nights sleep I'll be
able to post several more shots.
