Flag Ponds SP, Calvert MD

I'm back in another rut, but I had to post this one today as a PaD
Yep its today's suprise, suprise! I went back to Flag Ponds today because
yesterday was so good, and it was even better today, I've got a great archive
of RAW shots to work. This one is straight out of the camera! NO cropping!
resized for posting, sharpened after resizing and voila!

I was going to post this shot from yesterday because its so interesting! I was told
by an instructor of mine about the Canon 500D close up attachment for people who had
a longer lens (ie my 80-400) and wanted to use it for more macro shots. Then he (a Canon
shooter said the Canon version is by far the best attachment out there and it would wotk fine
on a Nikkor lens. When I first put it on I thought he was lying, I couldn't get it to focus
on the flower I was looking at, it was too far away ~3 feet. Well this shot shows that it
does get great macro shots:

Nikon D200 ,Nikkor 80-400mm f/4.5-5.6D ED VR AF
1/750s f/8.0 at 400.0mm iso200 full exif

other sizes: small medium original auto
