Hello I am trying to see if there is a way that i can use these beautiful pictures of the white bengal tiger for symbolical traditions for my fraternity. These creatures are beautiful and they are also our mascot. please any information would be helpful.
Your work is outstanding! I enjoyed my brief stay. Hope to see more as I can.
I enjoyed looking your galleries and much more reading your message.
Mange hilsner Billedhugger Elna Christiansen www.Troldanden.dk
I was wonder if it's possible to get a copy of one of your picture of the Bengal tiger. My wife absolutely loves your photography and I thought it would be nice to frame a copy for her as a gift. Do you have a website were your fans could purchase prints? Or digital images?
Which website may I find the content of the books mentioned like THE ZOO, etc. Thanks.
Hello Birte, I met you recently at the Santa Monica 3rd St. Promenade. I am one of the Ambassadors hired to help visitors with any questions or directions they may have when visiting our city. You mentioned you were working on your new book and after viewing your picture gallery it should be great. It was a pleasure meeting you and much success always, J.D. Simpson
Your photos are so inspiring! Thank you for your wonderful photos and the lives they portray.
Tak for dine kommentarer. Jeg kan se du kommer "hjem" en gang imellem.
Jeg har nydt at de dine gallerier - du har en speciel stil som tiltaler mig meget.
Thanks for taking the time to comment on my gallery. I'm a big fan of your gallery has some beautiful photos.
Thank you for your penetrating comments on the Somalian snaps. In truth those images were shot some seventeen years ago! I flew into Baidoa aboard a russian freighter loaded with 50 tonnes of Australian high energy buscuits and equipment for an Aus news magazine..the sadly defunct Bulletin. This was CARES first shipment. A deeply scary place.
And nothing has changed...if anything it's much worse. Most of the people in my shots probably didn't last too much longer after the ngo's and military/UN bailed out.
I think that all we really did was keep some people alive for just a bit longer.
You do fine work Birte. We use similar toys too.
Oh. You might enjoy these images by my long time friend and News Ltd. colleague Paul Wager who lives and works up in Laos. Has a lot to do with UXO's.Also been endowed with many global awards for his snaps.
His folio on UXO victims is asa telling as it is compationate.
Each single photo in your galleries is a pleasure to see - allways a characteristic action or moment coupled with a great composition. I am one of your fans for sure! Regards Lisbeth
The photos of your tigers are amazing, im a puzzle lover and lots of those images would make fantastic puzzles !!!!!
I'm from Wildlife Reserves Singapore. Singapore Zoo is one of the parks we manage.Saw your lovely pictures of the white tigers. Just wanted to clarify that we only have 3 white tigers, not 5 as indicated in the many reports that are in various websites. Wondering where you got the information from.
I look forward to hearing back from you on this, thanks.

Thanks for the beautiful picture from Afghanistan, they are wonderfull in the look, and so much more in the spirit if we want to look at, yes if we want to see and life in the deeper and wider menaning, it remind me that every one is unique, no one the same in all the earth, from past present and future, so every one is unique, and that mean so much for me .
Keep up the great work,.. I liked your monkey and fence story.
great shot, i love your photo.. looking forward for your latest galleries.

Great Photos, The reason I am writing this is because I saw your recent work in Northern Thailand, I am planning to go in June for a month and want to cover these tribes for a Local magazine here in Houston TX. I would like to here your experiences and any other logistics that are helpful to making my trip easier, I am a photographer and the trip is going to be a photojournalistic article with emphasis on indigenous tribes surving in a globalizing world.

Great work Birte. Glad to have found you on Pbase. Good to see there are others out there promoting the beauty and fragility of what we have left to enjoy in the hope we can save it. Keep it up! (I'm envious you can shoot so many frogs)

Brite - I so admire your work and am very grateful that you led me to your new site. I love to gaze into your images for their beauty and then I become inspired by you to go into my own world to see if I can capture something. I will continue to visit and learn from you. You are first and foremost an artist but also a masterful technician in capturing the soul and grace of her world. All the best for a new and prosperous 2008!

Nice work Ben from Boston
Thanx for your comment...I spent two years taking photos in australia and photographed wildlife and landscape every day...i would love to return one day and finish the book i started....you have great work to and it makes me want to come back...
through your photographs you have managed not only to capture "that moment" but relay a message (hopefully) about what needs to be done to help our planet, our environment and I would sure like our Prime Minister to get a look at these photographers...perhaps that would give him a jump start to sign the Kyoto agreement. Thank you for all you do via your photographs and working with saving frogs (sorry not my favourite animal), hugs, Conny
Hi Birte, You mentioned the Grass Parrot, I have to be honest until one visited my backyard I did not know what they were. The little one visited for only a few seconds once or twice a week and has slowly become more comfortable. Now I have three pairs who visit most of the time. In fact there is always one everytime I go outside. I am tryng to get them in flight as they are so pretty with their movements. They seem quite happy about my presence outside and totally ignore my dogs who are not into chasing birds, but like to sit and watch them also. Some of the discarded sunflower seeds have grown into large plants coming into flower, I notice the cockatoos are keeping an eye on the plants. So I may get a chance to photograph them also. Corralas only visit very occassionally, I think there is plenty of their food around about as they are about in big numbers but don't bother with my food supply. Looking forward to january, cheers
Thank you very much for visiting my gallery.
Great photos, so beautifully captured! I will return soon, when I have more time. Missy
