Decided to cheer the car up and take her to one of those hand car washes that have sprung up everywhere - it's very relaxing I must admit, watching a bunch of folk crawling all over the bodywork and attending to the car's every cosmetic need while you sit there and while away half an hour reading the Sunday papers...very civilised, and they did a good job too!
