Quite Literally Awesome

Worcester, Worcs. view map

Not a brilliant photo by any means (I forgot to reset the ISO for one thing!!!) but I like this for the sheer scale of this magnificent and imposing building...this doesn't get anywhere near the feeling of awe I had standing in the cloister gardens looking up at the crossing and its massive tower. Truly remarkable, especially for something built in the 14th century

They new how to build grandeur and not just functionality

An excellent POV and I do sense its scale.

Great POV created with the 24mm end, nice framing and detail. Actually looks great with the high ISO speed, kind of almost gives a slight HDR impression.

Great detailed shot of this impressive cathedral.

You chose a great vantage point to show the complexity and visual impact of this church.
Wouldn't worry about the ISO though, the D700 can deal with it as is obvious in this image.

Yup, it's pretty good.

I agree - it's an awesome structure. I think that every time I see it.
