You were fortunate to have such a dreich day. The weather has really made this image and, as others have said, with the b+w treatment it has a timeless feel to it. Good also to see the village with the tide out. Gritty realism.

The lack of colour really sets this apart from anything else I've seen. It could almost have been hand drawn with pencil. Excellent.
